Lisa D. Barnes is the daughter of Bruser Jackson Sr. and Theresa Banks she was born in Tucson, AZ, but raised in Pittsburgh, PA. She is a mother of three Genesis and Christopher (twins), and Timothy her youngest son.
Ms. Barnes attended Point Park University receiving her Bachelor Degree in Business Administration in 2006 and Geneva College receiving her graduate degree in Organizational Leadership in 2015.
She is a business woman and speaker. Lisa is also, the author of “Let’s Talk Goals!” a workbook that encourages women to achieve their goals in spite of what they have faced in life. Having faced many obstacles herself, such as: becoming a teen mom, being in an abusive marriage, and getting diagnosed with breast cancer at twenty-eight years old. She ministers to girls and women who have suffered through the trials of life by freely sharing her testimony. Lisa finds joy in knowing that God has equipped her to not only break generational curses in her family but to encourage others as they do the same. One of her favorite scriptures is Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for the good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.
