Karmen Butler's maiden name is Hall. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pa. grew up in the Homewood neighborhood and graduated from George Westinghouse House High School. She first obtained her Associates Degree in Human Resources from CCAC. She then went on to further her education and acquired a Bachelor Degree from Indiana University majoring in Human Resources Management and General Management. She is presently employed at Highmark Inc. and has been employed there for 20 years. She is a mother to four beautiful children. She is currently a part of the When She Thrives program to become a published writer. She also is walking in her purpose.
