Jazlynn Worthy
Note to Self: Patience
Fueled by a lifelong love for helping people, Jazlynn Worthy uses her story to assure women that they aren’t alone in navigating their personal parenting journeys. Drawing from her experiences as a single mother and extensive research, she teaches mothers practical ways to handle raising children on their own. Her role as a coordinator for a nonprofit organization provides the perfect environment to serve her life’s purpose. In this position, she counsels, educates, and connects families to resources in the Pittsburgh area.
Raised by a single mother, Worthy witnessed firsthand the challenges and dynamics this family structure can bring. Determined to make a positive impact, she strives to change the narrative associated with the stigma of single motherhood. Rooted in the belief that if it isn’t impossible for God, then it is possible for you, she encourages every mother, especially Black mothers, to recognize that the sky has no limit.
When she's not offering advice or teaching classes, Jazlynn enjoys a good book and attending local events with her four children. Always prepared with business cards, band-aids, and snacks, she is ready for whatever comes her way.
