Brooke Barry is a constant seeker of truth and understanding. She is committed to living, loving and learning. Her passions are her family and friends, travel, and early childhood development. When she is not chasing her son Kingston around, you can catch her at a stand-up comedy show, traveling, hiking, reading, or spending time with friends and family. She wants to live her life with kindness, truth, and an open heart and mind. She also wants to give her son, Kingston, the best life possible.
Brooke has always enjoyed traveling, and her love for international travel was sparked when she spent her 18th birthday on a beach in Okinawa, Japan. This unique experience became the catalyst for her global journey that has taken her from Pittsburgh to Paris, Mexico to Myanmar, Tahoe to Thailand, San Francisco to Singapore, Bangkok to Bangladesh, Indonesia to Ishigaki, and back to the ‘Burgh. Brooke has experienced a 10 day white water rafting trip down Sun Kosi River in Nepal, and spent 7 weeks trekking in the Himalayas. All of this while she continued to take college courses and never losing sight of her ultimate goal. These adventures, combined with her love for other cultures, languages, and countries led her to the completion of her B.A. in Elementary Education, with a minor in Spanish, at The University of Pittsburgh.
